Letter from the President

Dear Colleagues:

As president of the Long Island Radiological Society, I am excited to announce the beginning of our 2024-2025 series.

Our lecture series this year again features a variety of topics presented by distinguished speakers. We will also host our virtual Mammography Symposium which will be held on October 5th.

Our meetings will be held at various venues on Long Island.

Format of the meetings:

6:00 p.m.: Social hour with hors d’oeuvres

7:00-8:00 p.m.: Presentation by guest speaker with a sit-down full course dinner.

On behalf of the LIRS executive committee, we hope that this membership year offers opportunities for education, networking, and advocacy.
